    Complaints

    You can file a complaint with the Parliamentary Ombudsman if you feel that a public authority, an official or a private party performing a public task has not complied with the law or fulfilled its duty, or if you suspect that fundamental and human rights have not been appropriately implemented in their activities.

    Make a complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman

    You can submit the complaint easily by using the form in the Secure Mail (Turvaviesti) service. Alternatively, you can submit the complaint, for example, by email.

    How the Ombudsman investigates a complaint

    Each complaint is carefully examined by a specialist. If there is reason to suspect unlawful actions or neglect of duties, the Ombudsman initiates an investigation.
